Campaign summary
NY 911 Retirement is an independently organized, dispatcher-led campaign asking Governor Kathy Hochul to support A.9162A/S.7635B and sign the measure when it reaches her desk. The measure would create an optional 25-year retirement plan for eligible 911 workers when their public employer chooses to offer it. As of August 24, 2026, Casey reports approximately $70 in direct campaign expenses paid personally. The itemized costs, mixed-use ChatGPT spending, untracked volunteer time, and limited workplace activity and resource use are included in the public funding and resource disclosure; no formal agency sponsorship is claimed. Separately, Sheriff Cicirello's signed letter supports the legislation.
